5 Vegan Christmas Gifts You Can Get In Time For Christmas
Vegan Christmas gifts work both ways. As a vegan you want to receive them and you want to give them. Honestly if you give your omnivore friends a block of tofu for Christmas they are not going to love you. So I put together a list of Christmas gifts that are vegan, suitable for omnivores, and still available to arrive in time.
The very first item on my vegan Christmas gift list is this rice cooker. This has been one of the best things I have ever purchased for myself personally. It does so much more than cook rice. I cook soups, potatoes, make potato soup, and of course steam vegetables which it does well too. Article contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you use them to purchase which does not affect the price.
You can literally put your rice and veggies in this thing, walk away and come back later to an entire meal waiting to be eaten. It even goes into warming mode when you meal is finished cooking so it's ready for you when you decide to eat. The rice always comes out perfect and it's amazing. For vegans it's a great gift and for your omnivore friends it will encourage them to make more rice. Even omnivores love rice and steamed vegetables. And every time they use it you will know you helped save an animal with your gift.
You can see I am recommending things I already own and love for my recommended vegan Christmas gift ideas. It's safe to say I have an obsession with food. Food is life. Or it's death. Either way, I don't think you can ever go wrong by helping someone eat healthier or prepare healthier food easier. And that brings us to this Instant Pot.
The Instant Pot is something I waited way too long to buy. I saw all the videos on Youtube. I listened to my friends say how amazing it was. But I was happy with my Rice cooker and I thought I could basically do everything in it I would cook in the instant pot. Boy was I wrong. It cooks foods to perfection and so quickly. My favorite thing to make in mine is chili, but I also bake potatoes in it. So fast. And I can cook so many at one time. One word of advice for you. Christmas gift or not, get this Instant Pot.
My last cooking device I'm recommending is something else I thought I would never need and then couldn't live without it once I got it. I love my high speed powerful blender. It was also one of the best investments I ever made. If you don't have one I highly recommend this Vitamix Blender. It's the one I own and I can live without it. It happens to be on sale right now for 20% off saving you $110 of you use this link. But that's not my gift recommendation. What you need to consider as a gift to yourself or someone else is this immersion blender.
It's perfect for mixing and blending right in your glass or bowl. You don't have to fire up the big powerful blender sometimes. You can literally toss some banana, almond milk, fruits, etc into a glass and hit them with this thing and instant smoothie! It's so great for small jobs. If you don't have an immersion blender yet, this one is awesome. And it's a great gift for the vegan in your life too.
My final two recommendations are vegan cookbooks. Again, these are great gifts for vegans, or the omnivores in your life that love to cook. Even though they are not vegan, they will check the recipes out. They will find something they like, cook it, and love it. You will help them enjoy more recipes that are vegan and save more animals. It's a no intrusive way to give a vegan Christmas gift without seemingly overly pushy about the vegan aspect of it.
There are a lot of vegan cookbooks I like but I'm only going to recommend two. They are both amazing and I promise even your omnivore friends will see something in these they will want to try. First on my list is Minimalist Baker's Everyday Cooking. It's 101 amazing recipes from my favorite vegan blogger. You can get it here.
Last on my list is Forks Over Knives: The Cookbook. With over 300 recipes this is a great resource to have and there is something in here for everyone. It's a cookbook both vegans and non-vegans will get something delicious from they will love. Get it for yourself or for a friend. You can get it here.
As of the time we published this article, all of these gifts will arrive at your door, or at someone elses door as a Christmas gift in plenty of time for Christmas. So get that last minute shopping done for the vegans in your life. And have a happy holiday season!
