The first dish has a main ingredient that we are all too familiar with, chocolate. Oh, that sweet, decadent chocolate that melts in our mouth!

There is this notion that chocolate was the earliest aphrodisiac in human history. I think so too; it’s not difficult to create chocolate so long as you have the necessary ingredients and right cooking tools. Maybe that’s why chocolates are very popular during Valentine’s Day because after giving it, it stimulates arousal in the brain, leading to greater liking. Chocolate contains tryptophan and phenylethylamine, which promotes the aforementioned liking and arousal.

A perfect way to utilize the effects of chocolate is through this Spiked Sweet Potato Truffles. It takes time to make it, so it is preferably done a day before it is intended to be eaten. Add a dash of romantic evening candle-lit dinner to perfectly accentuate the mood. For those who are non-vegans, but lactose intolerant, this recipe is good for you because it is dairy-free.
