Healthy Vegan Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Since most cookies are desserts I don’t really consider this a dessert. These Vegan Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are Healthy.
I’m not saying you should eat them three times a day. I’m not even saying you should eat them once a day. But for an occasional tasty vegan snack these are about as healthy as you can get. These Vegan Oatmeal Raisin Cookies aren’t full of phytonutrients but they do have some good stuff in them. Their biggest flaw is the sugar (vegan versions) and calories. But I have kicked in some added nutrition with my super secret ingredient!
I have added flax seed powder to this recipe for some healthy fats and omega 3. Flax Powder is an amazing vegan food. One of the big problems most vegans and vegetarians have is a ratio of omega 3/6/9 that is not healthy. The best way to correct this for me is to use flax seeds in some of my recipes every day.
This recipe for Vegan Oatmeal Raisin Cookies is really easy and delicious and you can get it on the next page.
