New Ben And Jerry’s Vegan Flavors Rolling Out!

It hasn’t been very long since the vegan world lost it’s mind over the new Ben and Jerry’s vegan ice cream flavors. After many petitions to the company by vegans around the world they finally answered with four vegan flavors.

We were as excited as anyone to try them and did a news release on them (located here) with all of the details about the flavors, ingredients, health information and more. If you missed that article you can catch up on the Ben and Jerry’s vegan ice cream facts here.

As of this week a vegan on instagram spotted two new flavors of vegan ice cream under the Ben and Jerry’s brand. He posted the pics to prove he did indeed find them and gave a quick taste review as well. Thanks to @phillyveganmonster for the pics and review below!

The odd thing is there is no information on the Ben and Jerry’s website or Instagram page. Is this the beginning of a slow rollout? Or maybe it’s just a test market to see how they sell before deciding on mass production. Time will tell.

The one thing I think vegans everywhere can say is this: Hey Philly we are jealous! Share some of that vegan ice cream love with the rest of us.

  1. The chunky monkey was overwhelmingly sweet but ook. I had the coffee one and hated it. I guess I just don’t like the almond milk as the base. The so delicious brand uses coconut milk in some and cashew in the other….the cashew milk is the best!! I hope Ben and jerrys switch to that

  2. So, I’m so confused… is everyone on this page Vegan? If so, are you vegan for a reason like health, animals or environmental? Ben and Jerry’s vegan ice cream contains palm oil.. palm oil is destroying the orangutan population… just don’t get it… I’m WFPB but I still avoid ingredients that destroy the animals and their habitat..

  3. Is human breast milk vegan? If so, I will start a business making real ice cream for the vegans. If anyone knows a woman who is lactating, let me know, I’ll send them a jar and $20. I could make cheese, butter, all the delicious things you won’t eat! I’m really just trying to help 🙂

  4. Is this still overpriced and containing corn syrup like your last trendy release? I don’t know many true veagans who crave industrial agricultural poison as a product ingredient, but maybe I’m old fashioned.

    1. Allison Hall Organic isn’t the question. The use of industrial agricultural poisons represented as a healthy food alterative is wrong. If someone willingly eats something that is harmful that is one thing, if they are mislead into making a bad purchase that’s another issue entirely. I was disappointed to see that the company made the corporate decicision to use questionable ingrediants in their product after waiting so long for it to reach the shelves. I would have bought and endorsed them. I cannot buy or support using industrial poison. If you ind this rude so be it. Eat the overpriced, misrepreprented product but don’t call me “rude” beccause I won’t.
