I love sandwiches and I love fries! This Vegan Chicken Sandwich With Crispy Seasoned Potato Wedges is incredible. When you are losing weight you have to get creative to enjoy some of the things you live while keeping the calorie and fat content low.
I am eating mostly raw right now with one cooked meal a day. And most days do not include burgers or sandwiched. But one or two days a week I make a delicious vegan burger, some great fries or potato wedges, and I just enjoy it! Hey, you only live once right? The key is to keep the fat low. This means little to no vegan mayo and no oil. Luckily I have secret way to make crispy and delicious potato wedges without oil!
I also use a special ‘mayo sauce’ which really has no mayo in it at all. It’s mustard based with ketchup, horseradish, dill relish and more. If you really must have some mayo, put just a tablespoon in the entire mixture. It will be such a small percentage you’ll only be getting maybe 1/6th of a tablespoon per every tablespoon of the mixture you use. More details are in the video below. And if you want any of the items I use in the video, I have links to them at the bottom of the page.
