Vegan French Toast Recipe

Have you been looking for a vegan french toast recipe? Me too! I finally found one that will be my new ‘go to recipe. You will love this vegan french toast recipe because it’s really easy to make and it’s delicious. You can also top it any way you like and make it perfect for you.

Since breakfast is the first meal of the day I like variety. Before I went vegan I would eat french toast pretty often. It’s definitely not vegan with the egg and milk so I gave it up when I went vegan. That’s before I learned you could make vegan french toast with coconut milk and other substitutions.

This easy vegan french toast recipe uses almond milk but you can definitely use your favorite non-dairy milk. I know coconut milk works as well as cashew milk and flax milk. It’s really up to you what you use. That’s what makes vegan recipes so fun is how much you can customize to suit you.

You may be wondering what replaces the egg in this vegan french toast. It’s a combination of the different ingredients you will be dipping the bread in. One of those is chia seeds and they are super healthy for you. They also really work great in this recipe.

Another way to customize this delicious vegan french toast is with toppings you like. You can choose anything you love really. You can go with basic maple syrup, maybe some vegan whipped cream, and of course any fresh fruits you love. Make it your own.
