6 Vegan Supplements I Take Daily – Vegan Supplement Review
There are a lot of opinions about taking vegan supplements. What you are about to read is my opinion and mine alone. Another disclaimer, there are some affiliate links in case you want to check out the supplements I take. If you use them it doesn't cost you any more and it helps our site.
I think it only makes sense to supplement in today's world no matter what diet you eat. Some of these supplements are specific to veganism like vitamin B12. But the way farming is done today I think everyone should consider supplementing.
Does this mean that we can't be healthy if we don't supplement? That depends on how strict and dedicated you are to your diet. How much time do you spend making sure you are getting a wide range of vitamins, nutrients, and minerals in your diet?
I don't know you personally but the answer for most people is “not much.” Most of us just eat what we like. We choose foods we enjoy and eat them over and over again. A vegan supplements plan can make sure you are getting everything you need to stay healthy.
I am not saying you have to take vegan supplements. Please don't get me wrong. I'm saying that I take vegan supplements and this is a review of those supplements for you. If you choose to take them it is up to you. I do think you can optimize your health if you supplement properly.
You will find a link to all of these vegan supplements below the video if you want to learn more about them or purchase them. These are the best links and pricing I could find. But pricing always varies as time goes on. They are affiliate links and using them will support the site with compensation.

Vegan Supplements List
A lot of people may ask why a vegan would take a supplement if the vegan diet is so perfect. There are actually a few good reasons to supplement your diet because everyone is different and has different needs.
My cousin is a vegan weight lifter and he takes the vegan protein powder. For the average vegan with normal sized muscles there is plenty of protein in all foods. But for people taking their bodies to the extreme a protein powder is needed.
There isn't much to say about B-12 because not only do vegans need it, a decent percentage of omnivores are lacking in B-12 as well. This is due to farming and food practices in the 21st century.
The same logic applies to Vitamin D3. For people living south of Atlanta Georgia in the US it's is technically possible to get enough vitamin D from sun exposure, but most still don't. If you live north of Atlanta it's impossible. Take your vitamin D.
Vegans typically eat foods high in Omega 6 fatty acids. If you don't get close to a 1 to 1 ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6, you are endangering your health. So take that Omega 3 supplement for optimum heart health.
I saved the best for last. Why does a vegan need a green superfood powder? Because there are all kinds of vegans. Junk food vegans, mostly whole food vegans, vegan who eat everything that's vegan. Very few vegans are whole food, raw vegan. You can help get all that nutrition by supplementing.
Ultimately you will have to decide what is healthiest for you. Most vegans could benefit greatly from taking at least one of these supplements. I'd guess many should really take most of them to achieve a better level of health.
